The new requirement allows applicants applying at the FS-6 level to have or currently be enrolled in a graduate degree program (masters or doctorate), and will be obtaining their degree within 6 months from the date of applying for any of the following technical area job announcements:

Additional Mid-Level job opportunities are available for applicants that can demonstrate appropriate levels of relevant experience, education, and training. The degree and experience requirements for Mid-Level job openings are: A relevant Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience of which three (3) years is relevant overseas experience; or a Master's degree in a relevant major plus five (5) years of relevant experience of which three (3) years is relevant overseas experience; or a Ph.D in a relevant major with three (3) years of relevant experience of which two (2) years is relevant overseas experience.
