Description:
This is a key management position in the Finance & Operations department. As the Director of Budgeting & Cash Management you will interact with all levels of UWW's leadership and senior management teams. As the Director you must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:

1. Coordinate the budgeting functions within UWW. Accountable for accuracy, timeliness and transparency of the annual budget as well as monthly reporting of actual spending vs. budget amounts. Analysis of variances, forecast actual spending, and providing granular spending and budget reports that meet the needs of the business areas;

2. Coordinate the cash management function of UWW including: cash forecasting, investing and reporting to UWW's Investment and Pension Subcommittee;

3. Provide financial analysis to equipt management with information needed for business case decision making, using appropriate financial principles. Provide support and guidelines to other groups within UWW to determine appropriate strategies to pursue. This includes process development, benchmarking and measuring results against plan.

4. Ensure the efficient and accurate management of the capital expenditure budget.

5. Create effective policies, processes, tools and a discipline geared to cost management within UWW; and

6. Other duties and special projects (departmental and organizational) as assigned.

Education Requirements:
Minimum requirements include a bachelor degree. CPA preferred.

Experience Required:
Progressive experience in a similar role and five years of previous people management experience. Additionally, this position requires three to five years of experience in a leadership role. Excellent project management skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent Microsoft Suite skills.
