ASAE & The Center s Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) supports individuals from under-represented identity groups (people of color, LGBT, people with disabilities) in the association community, to advance into the ranks of leadership in the association profession. DELP scholars participate in an accelerated leadership program of education, mentoring, and volunteer service in the association community.

DELP Scholarship Benefits include:
Membership in ASAE & The Center; Registration, travel and lodging to one ASAE & The Center Annual Meeting and to any two other ASAE & The center education programs as selected by the scholar; Registration, travel and lodging to one Volunteer Leadership Retreat; Travel and lodging to an orientation at ASAE & The Center in Washington, DC and a DELP reunion in Detroit, MI; Access to a Certified Association Executive (CAE) study group to prepare for the CAE credentialing exam and waiver of CAE examination fee (taken within 3 years of DELP articipation) and study materials; Connection to an industry leader to serve as a mentor and group coaching to enhance the connection of the DELP cohort.

Service experience with an ASAE & The Center volunteer group or other association- related volunteer opportunity and the opportunity to meet with ASAE & The Center senior staff and volunteer leadership.
